Icon Writing Retreat in Santiago Spain, May 5 - 10, 2025

I am beyond excited to be able to offer an Icon writing retreat at the newly remodeled Casa Anglicana in Santiago Spain. The Casa is right in the heart of Santiago, near the Camino Real which is a famous pilgrimage today and had been the source of holy pilgrimages for or centuries.

We will be painting a striking icon of Saint James, the Greater, who is considered the patron saint of Spain and Santiago. We will use egg tempera with gold leaf on specially prepared icon boards. AND, YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE AN ARTIST TO PAINT ICONS! I provide step by step demonstrations and help whenever needed.
