November Online Icon Painting Class
We will paint an Icon of Mary and the Christ child for Advent in this November online Icon Painting Class using egg tempera and gold leaf gilding. Christine Hales is an experienced teacher who will expertly guide students through the steps of creating an Icon. You will need to purchase your own materials for this class and a materials list with links will be provided.
Each day will begin at 9AM and finish at 5PM, with breaks in-between for lunch and painting. The class will be recorded on ZOOM so any sessions that are missed can be caught up anytime. This is a unique opportunity to learn Icon writing, improve your painting skills and create a beautiful Icon of the Virgin for your family for Advent.
